The amount due will be the same each month, even though some months have five weeks instead of four. If a lesson is taken on the fifth week, that fifth lesson can be a make-up lesson for a previously missed lesson, or it can be a credited lesson for a lesson that will be missed in the future. I may plan or take vacation days in advance so that the months average four lessons.

If the tuition + fees have not been paid by the following month, the lessons will be cancelled immediately and will resume once payment is received.
Books & Materials: Any books purchased for the students will be added to the student invoice. Students/Parents are responsible to provide any materials required by me ( such as a binder, notebook, protective sheets, etc.)
Scheduling / Make Up Lessons
I will do my best to accommodate requests to reschedule, but I cannot guarantee a rescheduling. Make-ups must be completed within four weeks of missed lesson. Make-ups are not granted for no-shows, so you must let me know that you will miss a lesson in advance to receive a make-up. Once a make-up lesson is scheduled, it cannot be rescheduled again. If the student is sick, please try to reschedule the lesson.
Please be courteous of the instructor’s schedule and of other families in requesting frequent changes to the schedule. I will do my best to accommodate everyone, however, most lessons occur during a very limited amount of hours after school and are at times very difficult to reschedule.
If the instructor is unable to attend a lesson you will be given sufficient notice and either a credit or make-up lesson.
* Exceptions will be made for emergencies and extenuating circumstances only and at the discretion of the instructor.
Cancellation Policy/Make-up Policy:
Cancellations must be given at least 12 hours in advance in order to receive a make-up lesson that is to be taken within the month of the cancellation. If the parent/student fails to comply with the 12-hour cancellation policy, the lesson will be considered a loss for the student and the instructor is not obligated to refund or reschedule the lesson.
In the event of an allowed make-up, parents will be given reasonable notice of a possible make-up time; however, if the student’s schedule does not permit for the make-up lesson, the lesson is a forfeit.
* Credits will be made for emergencies and extenuating circumstances only and at the discretion of the instructor.
Long Vacations or permanent change in your schedule:
Talk to your instructor as soon as possible if you need to be away for more than 2 weeks or have a permanent change in your schedule.
Practicing:
All students are encouraged to practice on a daily basis. The amount of practice time may vary based on age, and that may be discussed with me.
Tardiness:
Students are expected to arrive on time. I will allow a window of 15 minutes. After the allowed time, the lesson is considered to be lost and no make-up will be given.
*Exceptions will be made for weather and extenuating circumstances only.
